The 3 Friends spreads across a wide landscape format, using abstracted figures and saturated blocks of color to evoke camaraderie and collective energy. Sinoquet arranges his forms in a loose lateral rhythm, suggesting movement and conversation without resorting to literal representation. The negative space between the figures carries as much weight as the forms themselves — a compositional tension that keeps the eye moving across the full width of the piece. Warm and irreverent in equal measure.
